Built to last in tropical weather, it provides excellent visibility day and night while maintaining a neat, professional aesthetic. The Tile base enhances durability and blends naturally with landscaped surroundings.”

Overview

This is a double-sided lightbox signage with an internal lighting system ( LED tubes ). The illumination gives the signage strong visibility both day and night — essential for government offices, institutions, or any premise located along main roads or junctions.

Construction

  • Frame Material: Mild steel with anti-rust coating, forming a rigid skeleton that holds the acrylic panels firmly.
  • Outer Casing: Metal sheet panels painted with weatherproof coating to resist corrosion and UV exposure.
  • Base Structure: Concrete foundation with Tile — a durable and aesthetic base that anchors the signage firmly to the ground, especially important for windy or sloped areas.
  • Edge Trim: Aluminium or stainless trim that seals joints and adds a professional finishing line.

Front & Side Panels

  • Material: Opaque acrylic or polycarbonate sheet, suitable for outdoor UV exposure.
  • Printing: Vinyl sticker or UV-printed graphics directly on the acrylic surface. The bold red text ensures high legibility from a distance.
  • Light Diffusion: The internal LED lighting evenly illuminates the white acrylic, making the text glow at night without hotspots.

Internal Lighting

  • Light Source: T8 LED tubes.
  • Power Supply: Typically 12V DC transformer connected to a timer.
  • Maintenance Access: Usually via a removable top or side panel for bulb/LED replacement.

🪨 Base Finish

The bottom tile not only enhances the look but also prevents soil splash and dampness from staining the metal parts. It’s both decorative and functional — a smart detail many overlook.

🧭 Design Practicality

  • Raised slightly above the ground to avoid direct contact with rainwater.
  • Clear separation between illuminated and non-illuminated sections.
  • Minimalistic layout — white background, high-contrast text, and simple lines — ensures longevity in appearance.
